What counts as an event
An event is one of:
- A public visit, download, or play on a link
- A CLI, HTTP, or MCP write: create / update / delete a link; add / verify / remove a domain; create / rotate / delete a webhook
Reads do not count: list, get, stats, CSV export, webhook list/get, auth whoami / GET /me. File bytes on create are part of that create, not a second event. Replacing a file on update is one write.
When the monthly event quota is reached, further writes and ingest return an error (Event limit reached for this period. Upgrade or wait until it resets.). There is no overage billing.
